Amongst the many activities including face painting and football, youngsters from Fownhope Primary School had the chance to participate in a Ju-Jutsu Kumite taster session during their summer fete.
Under the guidance of British Ju-Jutsu champions Dave Coles and Simon Small who were assisted by students Tammy Blake, Kate Bishop, Dan Hayes, Lyndsay Neil, Cathy Booton and John Gillespie the youngsters practiced some of the techniques of the sport including punches, kicks, throws and groundfighting
